I'm a few days away from vacation and I started to think that this year is being a strange time, unlike other times of the year. Nothing can fail and I want to keep everything organized because rest is essential, but I have felt that this “holiday” theme has been a great challenge in the uncertain times in which we live today, a fact that I have never felt before.
In this last year I managed to count on three hybrid colleagues in the team. They are not cars, but very different from the classic programmers.
After 18 years of managing people in a web development company, today I am more certain than at the beginning that managing people is not about power! It is about being at their service with guts and pleasure. Understand what they need from me to be successful in their own role.
If we put the question upside down, we have the answer: why not? why not have a blog to share the best we know how to do? ... and thus, be able to contribute to raise the knowledge of our customers, partners and everyone who read us?
The digital footprint of a company is everything that is online about it, from the official website, to its social networks, all the information published by the brand itself and by other that refer to it: directories, press, employees, competitors, customer reviews ... hashtags … people´s comments.
How can we establish closer relationships with our customers and with our followers, using digital platforms and the tools we have at our disposal?
And now how will it be? Covid-19 has changed minds, that's for sure. But what will this “new world” be like after confinement?
We gradually begin to return to a new “normality” for everyone. And we witnessed, in a very short time, to adjustments and re-adaptations to new realities that took us out of our comfort zone, but that at the same time opened so many other doors for us.
Being a speaker on virtual stages and webinars without being able to “feel” the audience is not easy! We are all learning and adapting. Speakers and the public are finding their role in this new digital model of online meetings, presentations and events.
