At Softway we believe the best ideas don't always come from meetings or from sitting in front of a screen. They also turn up over dinner with friends, in unhurried conversations, on a walk by the sea, in a book we finally had time to read, or simply during a pause in the sun with the sea as background noise.
Over the coming weeks some of the team will be away and others will be holding the fort, but everyone deserves to slow down a little. So the blog is taking its annual break.
Innovation takes knowledge, curiosity and dedication — but it also takes time to breathe, to change perspective and to let new ideas surface. That is the balance we try to cultivate, both in the way we work and in the way we think about the future of digital.
Before the break, we still made time for our summer lunch. It was a relaxed, easy-going get-together, and also the moment to welcome Zé and Ricardo, who have just joined Softway.
We keep growing because we believe the best companies are built with good people, different perspectives and a shared desire to do better.
