With her calm steps and broad smile, Maria has already accustomed us to her serene and gentle tone. Although discreet and calm, she likes to accompany the healthy madness of our team, allowing her laughter to be heard from time to time. Creative and sensitive, she transforms concepts into visuals full of musicality.

  1. If you could swap positions with someone at Softway for a day, who would it be and why?
I'd swap with Vasco, on the frontend, because I like programming and thinking about the structure of websites.
  2. If you could have a superpower, what would it be and how would you use it?
I'd like to silence things sometimes. To have the superpower of silence. It could also be time travelling, and then I'd go back to my childhood. Going back in time.
  3. If you could organise a company event, what theme would you choose and what activities would you do?
I'd organise a beach event including a surf lesson and a picnic.
  4. What was the last addictive series or film you watched?
The last series I watched was Lincoln Lawyer. It's super addictive, with lots of cases to be solved and new clues to emerge, leaving the air of doubt about the innocence of the accused.
  5. If you could turn back time, what advice would you give yourself?
I'd say to take it easy, that everything will find its meaning and that, in the end, everything will be fine.
  6. What do you like to do to relax after a day's work?
Gosto de caminhar na natureza. As caminhadas fazem-me bem.
  7. What's the most adventurous thing you've ever done or would like to do in the future?
I'd love to skydive. The most adventurous thing I've ever done is parasailing.
  8. A book you recommend.
I really like O Medo by Al Berto because it has very beautiful poems. But the book that marked my life was Esteiros, by Soeiro Pereira Gomes. I remember putting the socks under the pillow for the children who were burning their feet. It's a very sad story that, having read it as a child, made me cry a lot.
  9. If you were given a week's all-expenses-paid holiday tomorrow, which place would you choose?
I'd go back to Lanzarote now, I really liked it, especially because it's volcanic.
  10. What's the best piece of advice you've ever received, and who gave it to you?
Perhaps my father, who taught me from an early age to always work hard so that in the future I could reap the rewards of that endeavour.
