Softway Summer Event 2025

It wasn’t exactly your typical summer postcard setting. The sky was heavy, a light drizzle threatened to ruin our plans, and the Tagus didn’t exactly look like it was on holiday. But some things not even bad weather can stop — and one of them is the Softway team’s determination to have fun together.

So, last week, there we were at Lisbon’s Doca de Santo Amaro — some in t-shirts, others in raincoats — ready to get soaked and board a Seaview speed boat. Yes, a speed boat! To the delight of some and the mild panic of others, someone decided the best way to celebrate summer was to fly across the Tagus with wind in our faces and the city at our backs. Or, more precisely, at our stern.

We jumped the wakes of passing boats, screamed (some more in tune than others), and laughed... or cried... with every sharp turn. Lisbon looked completely different from out there: the majestic 25 de Abril Bridge, the riverside neighborhoods with curious windows peeking out, and us — thrilled, butterflies in our stomachs, and our hair completely wild. Even the rain felt good. A kind of baptism for what came next.

We crossed the river and landed in the bay of Seixal. The restaurant 100 Peneiras welcomed us with a chilled glass of Moscatel de Setúbal — perfect for calming the adrenaline and waking up our appetite. That’s when the engines slowed down and the voices picked up.

We talked, toasted, shared stories and, most importantly, we were all there. Everyone, together, as a team. No absences, no screens, no rush.

On a summer day that looked more like winter, we created a warm, colorful memory — full of splashes, adrenaline, Moscatel, great food and, above all, our people.

Because one thing is certain: together, we are Softway. And together, even the rain is charming.
