There is only one way to close the year on the Softway blog: by writing about what has truly transformed the way we create, think, and deliver value every day. User experience is shaped by how each visual element, interaction, and design decision influences the perception and understanding of the interface. Skeuomorphism. The word sounds like something you'd hear in a dermatology textbook, or maybe a dark spell from a Defence Against the Dark Arts class at Hogwarts. In today's digital landscape, there is one format that continues to stand out and lead the way: video. From top bars with concept videos, product demonstrations to institutional videos, websites (and beyond) are increasingly centred on the video format.
